Run Seokjin Palastine Fundraiser

Mission Statement: To raise awareness and funds for Palestine through our love and appreciation of Seokjin's music.Project Roots: This project was started by a group of Army's who envision using #RunSeokjin_EP. Tour to educate fellow fans and to raise money for a good cause. We are led by Ayah. Ayah became ARMY in 2016 and has been organizing and hosting BTS cupsleeve events for three-years. She is a Palestinian-American activists heavily involved in pro-liberation movements.Army-led fundraising projects have long been the source of the fandom's pride, stemming from the politically-charged lyricism and words of the BTS members. Since they debuted in 2013, the fandom has donated their time, money, and other resources to a variety of causes on behalf of the member (planting trees, donating to children's hospitals, BLM, Palestine, and much more).We've seen a steep decline of such initiatives and with the current political climate, we believe it's vital to return to our fandom's roots and connect to our own communities. At the heart of BTS and ARMY, we are political activists and advocates for social change, reform, and liberation.It's time to remind everyone what a powerful force for good ARMY can be when we stand together and fight for what's right.Why PCRF?: The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a non-profit organization that provides aid to sick and injured children throughout the Middle East. They've worked with refugee children in Lebanon and Jordan, amputees and orphans in Gaza, and on other humanitarian initiatives to help those in these impacted communities.We've chosen to donate the funds we raise to the PCRF because we believe in their mission- all children in the Middle East deserve free quality, specialized, and critical medical care when local healthcare is not possible.How to Donate?: You can donate directly to our PCRF Piece of Peace Campaign to help us reach our fundraising goals.Continued Learning and Education on Palestine: A persistent challenge of any movement is to keep the foot on the gas and keep the public engaged and properly informed of the topic at hand.
Learning and actively supporting the Palestinian people is a lifelong commitment and requires consistency.We hope that this fundraiser and our pool of resources will become the catalyst for you to be involved in the Palestinian movement. The Palestinian people have the right to return back home to a free Palestine, and our hope is that we can get them there within our lifetime.Below are resources that you can continue your education, connect with Palestinian organizers, and mobilize in withdrawing your time, resources, and money away from institutions that prevent Palestinian liberation.
